Visit of the Consul General of the Republic of Angola to the Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry

His Excellency Yousef Tahnoun, Deputy Chairman of the Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received Mr. Bento Salazar Andre, Consul General of the Republic of Angola to the country, and Mr. Baldino Estivas, Deputy Consul General, in the presence of members of the Chamber\’s Board of Directors and the Director-General of the Chamber.

His Excellency Youssef Tahnoun expressed the Chamber\’s keenness to strengthen the areas of developing commercial and economic cooperation and communication mechanisms between the various business communities, in a way that contributes to strengthening economic and commercial relations in various sectors.

During the meeting, the most prominent economic and tourism potentials owned by Umm Al Quwain and the investment opportunities enjoyed by the emirate were presented, most notably in the field of industry represented by the major factories that have taken the emirate as its headquarters.

The Consul General gave a brief explanation about the Republic of Angola and the economic and investment potentials owned by the Republic, explaining the various facilities provided by the Government of Angola.

For his part, the Consul General invited the Umm Al Quwain Chamber and its members, Emirati businessmen, entrepreneurs, and investors to visit the Republic of Angola and learn directly about the many available opportunities.
