The first meeting for 2020 between the General Secretariat of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the country and the directors of the member chambers of commerce discussed a number of programs and projects through investing in information and databases available at the chambers of commerce through which sustainable innovation can be incorporated into companies\’ business models

The first meeting, which was attended by Hamid Mohammed bin Salem, Secretary-General of the Federation of Chambers, discussed Muhammad Hilal Al Muhairi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Muhammad Amin Al Awadi, Director General of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Ajman Chamber, and Abdullah Khamis Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Umm Chamber Al-Qaiwain, Sultan Bin Jumaa, General Director of the Fujairah Chamber, Ateeq Naseeb, CEO of Membership Affairs at Dubai Chamber, and Ahmed Jamei Al-Qayzi, Director of Economic Department at the Federation of Chambers, providing an opportunity for participants from the private sector and government institutions to discuss and put forward new ideas and best practices on the foundations for developing sustainable innovations How successful and how these projects can be used to sustain their business

Hamid bin Salem said that the aim of these projects and programs is to promote and support innovation in the private sector and protect the interests of the state\’s business community in addition to consolidating the reputation of the chambers of commerce in the world of innovation globally by investing in the available databases and their work environment.
