The directors of the country\’s chambers of commerce and industry praised the positive results achieved by the UAE private sector at Expo 2020, represented by the growth of work relations (B2B) for companies and private sector institutions by 75% compared to the last three years.
This came during the first joint meeting between the General Secretariat of the Emirates Chambers and the directors of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry, which was held at the Business Communication Center at Expo 2020. In the presence of Hamid Muhammad bin Salem, Secretary-General of the Federation of Chambers, Muhammad Hilal Al Muhairi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, Muhammad Amin Al Awadi, Director General of the Sharjah Chamber, Salem Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Ajman Chamber, Muhammad Hassan Al Sabeb, Acting Director General of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber, and Sultan Juleh Al-Handasi, General Director of the Chamber Fujairah, Salem Rashid Al Aleeli, Acting Director-General of Umm Al Quwain Chamber, Ateeq Faraj Juma Nassib, Senior Executive Vice President – Commercial Services at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, and Ahmed Jama Al Qaizi, Director of the Economics Department of the Federation of Chambers.
He also called on the directors of the chambers, companies, business owners, and investors to preserve the gains achieved by the private sector after Expo 2020, through the sustainability of its communication with foreign companies and new markets that were identified during the Expo 2020 activities, and to develop future studies for them in light of the accelerating economic changes regionally and globally.
